What are the details of tungsten tube?
Tungsten tube,namely pure tungsten tube,is one of the main pure tungsten products.The purity of tungsten tubes can reach over 99.95%.Due to the different production process,the density will be different.If the product is only sintered,the density can reach 18.2g/cm3,if it is completely forged,it can reach 19.2g/cm3.But if the size is larger,such as 100mm diameter,even after forging, it cannot reach 19.2g/cm3,and the attainable density is about 18.8g/cm3.The density of pure tungsten tube is high,so it is a good shielding material.At the same time,due to the characteristics of pure tungsten, high melting point, high boiling point, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance,and low thermal expansion coefficient,tungsten pipes can be used in pipelines that corrode liquids and low melting point metals.
The production of tungsten tube adopts powder metallurgy.After the blank, it is sintered, forged, polished, inspected and packaged before shipment. The production standard in China is GB/T 4187-1984, and now generally it can reach the American standard ASTM F288-90.
