How much do you know about titanium metal?

The scope of use of titanium metal is gradually widening, such as titanium pans, titanium bowls and other kitchen utensils; artificial bones, dental implants and other medical fields; aircraft engines, rocket missiles, warships and submarines and other military high-tech fields. The only metal utensils that can be used to brew traditional Chinese medicine, "pro-biometal", "future metal" are all recognized and affirmed to it, so how much do you know about the knowledge of titanium metal?

Titanium was first discovered in 1791 by a British pastor W. Gregor (Gregor). At that time, it was only known as a new metal element. In 1795, the German chemist MH Klaproth again Discovered and named after the Greek god Titans. In 1910, American scientist M.A. Hunter first reduced TiCl with magnesium to produce pure titanium. Since then, the magnesium reduction method (also known as the Crawler method) and the sodium reduction method (also known as the Hunter method) have become industrial methods for producing sponge titanium. In 1948, the United States produced 2t titanium sponge by the magnesium reduction method, and has since reached the scale of industrial production. Subsequently, the United Kingdom, Japan, the former Soviet Union, and China also successively entered industrial production. The major titanium-producing countries were the former Soviet Union, Japan, and the United States.

Titanium is a new metal with a series of excellent characteristics that other metals do not have. It has been widely used in various fields such as aerospace, aviation, warships, petroleum, metallurgy, light industry, medicine and daily life appliances. In recent years, titanium metal has developed rapidly, and the demand for it has also continued to increase.
